Thank-you so much for taking the time to visit my website! image

Let me begin by introducing myself! My name is Savannah Rose Emler and I am a graduate of the Sport and Fitness Management Program at Zane State College in Zanesville, Ohio. I am 19 years old and I eat, breath, and sleep fitness. This unquenchable thirst began when I was a slightly pudgy, extremely out of shape, pimple plagued teenager attending her first track and field after school conditioning session. I could barely lap the 1/4 mile track one time at a 4mph pace "warm-up" when I realized how truly difficult that season was going to be for me. BUT, I stuck it out, and it is the real reason I am who I am today.

After about 2 weeks of track conditioning, I began to notice a change in my body for the better. I began to slim down, my muscles began to tone, and I was finally able to do 2 laps around the track at 4mph before I passed out... :/ Unfortunately, track never got much easier for me, because I never once believed in myself to win a race, which led me not to try very hard. I more or less attended practice to enjoy the company of my new friends and because I was already so involved in the sport, I couldn't back out mid-season. Nonetheless, I made it through to the end only to discover that I actually sort of enjoyed  it and was sad to see it end.

Somehow, someone was conniving enough to convince me to sign up for cross-country the following fall. I immediately said no, but after some prodding and poking from my coach and other track teammates, I joined. The workouts were much harderimage, but I began to care enough about running to actually try. I by no means became an all star that season either, but I learned a TON about who I was by running long distance: perserverance, mental capacity, and inner strength being the top 3. [Picture on the right is me,(left side of picture)16 years old, at a cross country meet with my best friend.]

Long story short, I didn't sign up for track or cross-country again after those two grueling seasons, because other activities such as National Honor Society, Key Club, church activities, school, and work took their place. However, I never stopped exercising. In fact, I became an exercise, healthy eating nut! This was quite the opposite from my life before! Running had changed me; and not just physically. I learned about who I was and what I was capable of. I gained self-confidance by realizing what my potential was and I knew that set me apart from most people. Running taught me to believe in myself and it helped pave the way to were I am today. I've decided to devote my life to giving back to people who may be in a similar boat as I once was. I know how much fitness has changed my life and I want nothing more than to bless others by that same capacity. You won't find a more passionate trainer, wholly devoted to your needs and desires. It's just not possible.
